The sax, seax or scramaseax is a large knife that was worn by European men in the 5th until the 11th century. Typical for the seax is that it has a single-edged blade and that it is worn horizontally, with the sharp edge upwards.

This seax has a length of 73 cm with a blade of 58 cm and a cross-guard of 7 cm. It is available with a grip covered with black leather, brown leather, un-dyed leather and with a blunt (battle-ready) or sharp blade.
