The sax, seax or scramaseax is a large knife that was worn by European men in the 5th until the 11th century. Typical for the seax is that it has a single-edged blade and that it is worn horizontally, with the sharp edge upwards.

This seax has a length of 50 cm with a blade of 37,5 cm and a cross-guard of 5,4 cm. It is available with a blunt (battle-ready) or sharp edge; with a grip covered with black leather, brown leather or un-dyed leather  and with or without a scabbard.
