Product description

This lorica segmentata is a replica of the earliest type lorica segmentata, the Kalkriese type. The original is possibly worn in the 9AD at the battle in the Teutoburger forest. Parts of similar loricae were found i.a. in Velsen (The Netherlands), where in 28 AD a great battle was fought.

This lorica segmentata is made of 1,3 mm thick steel and ornamented with brass. It can be closed with leather straps across the chest. The lorica segmentata can be adjusted to the right size and is suitable for a chest circumference up to 120 cm. It weighs approx. 7 kg.
