A high quality leather scaled armguard for re-enactment, LARP or Cosplay of a Roman gladiator. The manica is a segmented arm protection that could be made of different materials, like steel, leather or bronze, which was worn on one arm by the gladiator. Original images of the manica can be seen on Roman mosaics, tombs and stones. The interior of the manica is made of soft suede leather for extra comfort. The scales ensure that the manica is flexible and moves with the arm. It has two large straps to fasten it to the shoulder and across the chest. Additionally, the back has four straps, to fasten the manica around your arm en it has straps for the palm of your hand. It will stay in place during intensive battles.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
