Product description

This tent is made after several archaeological finds and pictures of Roman tents. The poles and tent pegs are made after several originals found in Spain. Tents like this were used for the accommodation of the Roman legionaries in march camps and semi-permanent camps. In the more permanent locations the tents were often changed for stone residences. A tent was shared with a group of eight legionaries.

The tent is made of cow leather, it has wooden poles and is delivered including hand forged metal tent pegs. It measures 305 x 305 cm and offers space to approx. 6 persons. The height of the tent is 185 cm and it weighs approx. 75 kg.

This item cannot be shipped to countries outside the EU due to its length.
