The British Household Cavalry consists of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals. These are the highest regiments in the British Army. This cavalry sword is a replica of originals from 1814, at the time of the Battle of Waterloo. These swords are similar in appearance to the swords from the Prussian army, many swords were bought from Prussia. Just like the original sword, this replica sword has an engraving on the blade with the text 'HAMBURGER & Co'.
