This axe is based on several 10th and 11th century originals. Axes such as this were used with both long and short shafts and were mainly used as tools in addition to warfare. Axes like these were very functional and were used on the British isles until the 16th century. This axe is blunt, 3 mm.

Tip: if you want to use this ax for historical battles, it is best to file the sharp corners at the front and back. This axe can be made sharp for functional use. It is provided with an extra long shaft.
