Swords like this were mainly made in the 2nd half of the 14th century and are depicted in i.a. the manuscripts of Hans Talhoffer.
Its length is 120 cm with a blade of 89,5 cm. The blade is made of carbon steel with a hardness of 48 to 50 HRC.
This sword is made by Jiri Krondak from Prague. During the last 20 years, this line of swords proved themselves on the re-enactment fields. They are continually perfectionised to a reliable and inexpensive type of re-enactment swordsThis sword is an Oakeshott type XVII.
Suitable for re-enactment and martial arts. The blade is handmade and tempered, using traditional forging techniques. The razor sharp version is suitable for cutting tests. When using the sharpening service, the return right and warranty expires. The extra delivery time is approx. 2 weeks.
