Product description

This is a set of replica coins from the time of king Charles I of England. He reigned between 1625 and 1649. Believing in the divine right of kings and married to a Roman catholic queen, conflicts with the protestant upper class and parliament arose. This led to his capture, trial and execution in 1649. The set consists of a shilling, sixpence, groat, threepence, halfgroat, penny and halfpenny, all made of pewter.
