Product description

Similar rings were worn by kings and nobles during the Saxon and Norman periods in England. This ring shows the image of King Offa of Mercia, holding a miniature of St. Alban's Monastery. Offa (reign from 757 to 796) is possibly most well known for Offa's Dyke, marking the border between England and Wales. This ring is made of pewter.
