Product description

The original of this helmet was found in Ribchester, England, and is now being exhibited in the British Museum in London. It was presumably meant for cavalry sports and military parades. It was possibly worn during parade fights, where battles between different tribes were re-enacted.

On this helmet an image of a battle between cavalry and infantry is depicted. The steel mask was fastened to the helmet with a leather strap. This helmet is made for decorative purposes only, and is not meant to be worn.
