This jewel is based on an Alemanic original excavated in grave nr. 9 in Hailfingen (Germany). The original dates from the 6th century AD. This jewel depicts Germanic ravens that are traditionally used in the Germanic pagan art. A cross symbol is also depicted, which clearly indicates that this jewel was worn in the transitional period between Paganism and Christianity. It is completely handmade of bronze.
