This rapier is made after a German original from 1610. Rapiers like this were mainly made between 1590 and 1640 in Germany. This type of rapier is a frequently occurring model.

It has a straight double cutting edged blade and is provided with a hilt. It has several side rings for extra protection of the hand while stabbing. Its length is 110 cm, with a blade of 88 cm and a cross-guard of 24 cm. It weighs approx. 1 kg.
