Maces like this occurred from the beginning of the 14th century until the mid-15th century. They were used by both infantry- and cavalrymen and were mainly used for breaking through armour.

This mace is based on a 14th century original, presumably it was primarily used by the heavy cavalry. It has a length of 50 cm and weighs 1,8 kg.
