This Franciska throwing axe is based on various originals. Similar axes were used throughout Europe between the 6th and 10th centuries AD. The axe has a shaft of 49 cm long, that can be easily replaced with a shorter shaft. The axe head is semi-sharp and made of carbon steel with a hardness of 48 HRC.
