This helmet is a replica of a helmet type that was worn by the Etruscans in Northern Italy between 800 and 750 BC. Presumably their purpose was both practical and ceremonial. Originals can be seen in the collections of the British Museum and the Louvre.
The helmet is completely hand beaten from brass. The plates are 1,6 mm thick and authentically attached. It is engraved on both sides in the Etruscan art style and has a textile inlay. The helmet weighs 2,4 kg.

Choosing the size that fits you best
Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
