Every household had an axe, even the poorer classes nearly all possessed this bearded friend. With this axe wood was chopped for fire and it served as primary tool for building houses, ships and fences.

This axe is primarily meant as utility axe, but it was also used for warfare. Its length is 65 cm and it has an axehead that measures 18 x 11 cm. This axe is battle-ready when it is blunted.
