A beautiful drinking horn with brass rim and a painting of a peacock feather, it is delivered including a leather holder for the belt. This drinking horn is inspired by the Icelandic Olaf Hoskuldsson, also called Olaf the Peacock because he liked to dress richly and to have a proud attitude. Olaf was mentioned in the Laxaela saga, Landnamabok, Egils Saga and other written Icelandic sources. Vikings drank from drinking horns during parties and rituals. Olaf had great wealth and liked beautiful things, so his drinking horns were probably also richly decorated. This drinking horn is decorated with a painted peacock feather in honor of Olaf and has a luxurious brass rim that appears to be made of gold. A suede leather holder tailored to the horn is included, so you can hang it on your belt. Perfect for festivals, re-enactment and LARP.
