This Viking axe is based on early medieval originals and replicas used in series like Vikings and The Last Kingdom. During the early Middle Ages, axes were an essential tool in daily life. They were used as weapons, as tools for chopping firewood, for repairs, etc. Every household needed at least one axe to survive. This axe has a hand-forged finish and a wooden shaft. The shaft and the axe head are decorated with leather straps. A perfect accessory for Viking reenactment or for Viking costumes.
