This pouring jug is made after a 9th century original found in Dorestad. This type of jug was used all over Northern Europe, a similar original was found in Birka. Although some of these jugs were decorated, most of them were not decorated.
The jug has a length of 18 cm and a max. diameter of 48 cm. The jug has a handy opening for pouring. It is made of the same clay as the original found in Dorestad.
