The Cold Steel Arming dagger is made beside the Arming Sword. Both weapons are inspired by originals that were used around the era of the Hundred Years’ War between England and France. The dagger is developed to serve as a melee and stabbing weapon to pierce through the narrow openings of plate armor. During the era that spears and longbows dominated the battlefield, the medieval knight depended on his lance after using his sword. The result was often close combat depending on life or death.
Cold Steel has made this dagger as accurately as possible after the qualities of original swords. The sword has a blade made of 1090 tempered carbon steel. This version of the Arming sword is made for cutting tests and martial arts. The blade is razor sharp and bronzed as extra protection from rust and damaged that can result from use. Details
