This type of hauberk was often used in the Middle Ages. The split makes it easier to use when riding a horse, and makes movement a little easier. The hauberk has long sleeves and is made of mild steel. It is rivetted with round rivets.
The sizes are measured on the chainmail itself. Choose a larger size when in doubt.

Maintenance & care
Remove rust from your chainmail by rubbing the rings together (just like when hand-washing clothes, but without water). The rings will grind together and the rust will come off.
Which size hauberk should I choose?
When you wear a gambeson, your breast circumference is around 15 cm larger.
