This community is made up of the most loving people I've ever met. There's little to no prejudice — people are here to support each other and be there for one another.
I remember a moment at Castlefest: I was in tears after making my offering at the Wicker, and a random person I didn't know offered me a hug. No questions, just comfort. We stood there for five minutes while I cried. Afterwards, I thanked that person and we went our separate ways.
I've never seen them again, but that moment perfectly captures what this community means to me: real connection. We're there for each other when it matters, and it's such an open and accepting place.
