This pewter badge is a replica of several 15th century French badges. Badges like this were worn all over Central Europe. The badge contains an image of St. Leonard de Noblat, the patron of prisoners and the greatest patron of pregnant women.

The badge depicts a kneeled prisoner freed by St. Leonard. He removes the prisoner's handcuffs.
