This aquamanile is made after a late 14th-early 15th century original found in Germany. Aquamaniles like this were used all over Europe. Nowadays the Nationaalmuseet in Copenhagen, the National Museum of Nürenberg and the British Museum have large collection of aquamaniles.
This aquamanile is the result of historical specialism and years of experience. Its height is 37 cm.
This aquamanile is completely handmade and no original is exactly the same. It fits well in the 15th century European art style. It is made with both archaeological and ceramical craftmenship. It is made of clay from the Rhineland that was imported throughout whole Europe.
