Product description

This glass drinking horn is based on a 5th-7th century Anglo-Saxon original found in England. The horn is now part of the collection of the British Museum. Drinking horns were made of horn, ceramic and glass versions. Relatively many glass drinking horns have been found. Especially the Franks, Anglosaxes and Merovingians made glass drinking horns in addition to horns. This drinking horn is entirely handmade from green glass, just like the original.
