This handmade bronze buckle is a replica of a 5th century Germanic original excavated in a tumulus at Ditzingen, Germany. Wide buckles like this are typical for the Great Migration period.

This buckle is made of bronze and is 5 cm wide. It is suitable for belts with a width up to 3,7 cm.
