This sallet is based on 16th century originals. This type of helmet has been in use for more than 100 years! Often these types of helmets were mass-produced and many of these helmets had to be made in a short time. The neck protector offered the wearer great protection against projectiles from above like arrows or stones. The visor offered a good field of vision, in combination with optimum protection to the face. This type of sallet was worn by both infantry and cavalry. The patinated finish provides an extra authentic effect. This helmet is 1 mm thick and suitable for LARP battles, costumes and Cosplay.
