Long daggers like this were used throughout the Scottish history. The Highlanders often kept a dirk underneath their shield as an extra weapon. The dirk evolved from the bollock dagger (kidney dagger) and models like this were used until the last Jacobite rising.

Later on the dirk was more decorated and became a part of the basic equipment of a Scottish soldier in the British army.

This dirk has a length of 39 cm with a blade of 24,5 cm and a grip of 3,5 cm. It can be delivered sharp or blunt.

This product is custome made.
