Nasal helmets were used from the 9th century to the 13th century. Its name comes from the nosepiece that protected the face. It is i.a. depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry and in the Maciejowski Bible.

This helmet is made after several examples of Norman helmets. It is 1,6 mm thick and has a leather inlay. The helmet is suitable for heads with a maximum head circumference of 63 cm.

Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
