The fallen were buried in their full gear, creating an exceptionally well-preserved picture of the armament and armor of a 14th-century northern European warrior.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThese armored gloves are based on a find from that battlefield. They are made of 2 mm thick leather and 1.2mm steel. The top is covered with riveted steel plates that completely cover the back of the hand and the five fingers, riveted to an inner glove made of flexible leather. The long leather cuff is reinforced on the inside with elongated steel plates and closes comfortably around the wrist with an adjustable leather belt and a brass buckle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThese articulated plate and leather gloves combine strength, freedom of movement and wearing comfort. They are ideal for late medieval reenactment and for the costume of a 14th century northern European warrior.
