How can I best adjust my helmet size?
Sometimes you need to adjust your helmet size for a comfortable fit. Helmets with a leather inlay can be adjusted somewhat in terms of size.
By making the inlay cord tighter or looser, you can adjust the depth of the helmet for a better fit.
If you need a bigger size adjustment, that's also possible. If you loosen the cord of the leather inlay completely, you can place a foam strip along the edge of the helmet, under the inlay. Once you push the inlay back into place and close it again, the foam strip stays put. Epic Armory supplies foam strips with their helmets, but if you have a helmet from another brand, you can also use this method with self-purchased foam strips.
