They are depicted, for example, on the silver altarpiece of Pistoia.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"371\" data-end=\"644\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"\u003eFrom around 1419, this style of sallet was also worn in France, then from 1425 in Germany and Austria, and by 1431 in England.
