Product description

This pendant is a replica of a Viking Age pendant from Staraya Ladoga in Russia. The pendant had an image of two horses. The motif of the two horses is common on Viking jewelry and has its roots in Finnish mythology, the Kalevala. It is about the battle between the characters Väinämöinen and Joukahainen. The ringing of the pendant should keep evil spirits and evil away from the wearer.
