It was essential to take along on a journey so monks, pilgrims, Landsknechten and highwaymen also carried a set on their travels. This set consists of a knife and fork. The fork was only used from the fifteenth century to eat like in modern times, before this century people used the fork to serve food. The set is made of stainless steel so that it never rusts.
