In the vast wilderness of the kingdom of Lagoria, where the wind whistles through dense forests and mountains rise proudly from the earth, a girl was born among a people of warriors and hunters. Her name was Freya, and from her earliest youth it was clear that she was different from the others. While her peers played with simple weapons and learned how to hunt, Freya felt an irresistible urge to show her strength, to perfect her skill with axe and bow.
Growing up amid the rugged lifestyle of her people, Freya was soon admired for her indomitable willpower and her determination to become the best warrior she could be. She trained tirelessly under the starlit sky, her muscles shaped by hours of hard labor and battles against imaginary enemies.
But her path to glory was not without obstacles. As she prepared for her future as an accomplished warrior, her tribe was threatened by a growing darkness. A malevolent warlike tribe, known as the Shadow Warriors, loomed on the horizon. Driven by greed and a lust for power, they plundered neighboring villages and brought entire communities to ruin.
Determined to protect her people, Freya rose up as a beacon of hope amid the threat of the Shadow Warriors. With her sword in hand, she courageously led her fellow warriors into battle against the darkness, her strength and determination a source of inspiration for all who followed her.
But although she achieved many victories, Freya was plagued by doubt and fear. She wondered if she would ever be strong enough to fully protect her people, to banish the threat of the Shadow Warriors forever. Despite her inner struggle, she remained determined to press on, her faith in her ability to triumph over evil unwavering.
Freya is a female human barbarian fighter.
Boots
A true barbarian fighter wears boots. In this outfit, Freya wears leather boots with a rubber sole for extra grip and comfort at festivals.
Skirt
In this barbarian fighter outfit, we chose a simple skirt. We cut it open on two sides and made a battle skirt out of it. With the slit, Freya has more freedom of movement in her fights.

Belts
Freya wears two different belts. We did this so she can easily carry more items such as weapon holders.
Fingerless Gloves
Freya travels as a barbarian fighter through the wilderness and fights often. Fingerless gloves protect the hand while ensuring she maintains a perfect grip. This way they don't get in the way, for example when climbing mountain walls.
Gorget
The armor in this barbarian fighter outfit can be worn both with and without a gorget.
Shoulder Armor
The same applies to the pauldrons - you can choose to wear the armor with or without shoulder pieces. The shoulder pieces are attached to the gorget and thus provide good freedom of movement. They can also be worn well without any clothing underneath.
Breastplate
Barbarian fighter Freya's armor consists of three parts: the breastplate, the gorget, and the shoulder pieces. This armor can be worn either directly against the skin or over a tunic. We've worked out both setups here.

Barbarian Fighter Throwing Knives
Hidden at her belt, Freya carries a set of three barbarian fighter throwing knives that sit in a leather holder. Freya can draw and use these at lightning speed.
Quiver
The advantage of this barbarian fighter quiver is that it can be worn both on the back and around the waist. On the back is definitely recommended for visiting festivals, so it never gets in the way. But at LARP events, around the waist has the advantage that arrows can be drawn more easily.
Longbow
We gave Freya one of our shortest longbow versions. We did this mainly because otherwise the ends of the longbow would extend beyond the studio space. It's definitely handy if you often participate in photo shoots to choose a somewhat shorter bow model.
Axe
Freya carries an axe that she has looted from a Dark Elf. She wears this around her belt as one of her many weapons.
Shield
As a shield, our barbarian fighter carries a buckler. She once bought this from a merchant in the city when she stayed there for a few days to follow someone.
