These differences in the hardness are visible in the well-crafted blade pattern (hamon) line.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis katana has a length of 109,5 cm with a blade of 77 cm and a grip (tsuka) of 32 cm. It weighs 1200 g. The grip wrapping is made of black silk in the Katate-Maki style underlaid with genuine shagreen, this style is typical for battle. It also has a black high polish lacquered scabbard (saya) in the Kuroro style with closings (kojiri, kurigata, koiguchi) made of buffalo horn. It has a long tang (nakago) that is fixated in the grip with two bamboo pins (mekugi).
