This musculata is a replica of a relatively short original from the Archaic period. It was mainly worn by the Greek cavalry.
The armour plate is made of steel and covered with bronze. It is suitable for a chest circumference up to 122 cm and it weighs 2,5 kg. The musculata can be closed at the sides and has shoulderplates with hinges.
