This Viking cloverleaf brooch features a design of intertwined ravens, inspired by the motif on a Viking strap tongue discovered in RØD near Rygge in the Norwegian Østfold. The original find dates back to the 9th century. The replica measures 5.5 x 5.5 cm and is available in high-quality bronze or real silver-plated versions. On the back of the brooch, a sturdy needle allows for fastening even thicker fabrics.

Trefoil-shaped strap distributors, initially part of Franconian military harnesses, were introduced to Scandinavia, where they were adapted into jewelry. These brooches soon became a staple of Viking women's costumes and were crafted in a distinct Scandinavian style, demonstrating the integration of foreign influences into Viking culture.

Trefoil brooches were an essential element of Viking women's attire, typically worn centrally on the chest between bowl brooches. By the mid-10th century, however, these brooches gradually disappeared from Scandinavian costume, marking the end of their prominence in Viking fashion.
