The medieval pilgrims wore badges on their headgear. They bought the badges along the way as a souvenir. The badges were cast from tin using a mold, just like today, so large quantities could be made. They were souvenirs that everyone could afford. Our replica badges are made based on medieval finds. They are hand-made from tin in England.
