This handmade wooden bowl is a replica of an original excavated in the Viking town Haithabu. The bowl is made according to traditional methods and is completely functional. Bowls like this have been excavated all over the Viking world, for example in Coppergate (Jorvik) and Dublin.
Bowls were used by all classes in society.

This bowl measures 16 x 6 cm. To maintain its optimal quality, clean the bowl with oil and do not keep it in water for a long time.

Washing-up instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse shortly with water. Wooden tableware should never be soaked in water or washed in the dishwashing machine. Wood can be treated with olive oil after cleaning.
