This is a replica of the Viking helmet that was found in a tumulus in Gjermundbu (Norway) and dates from the 10th century. The original model was broken into nine pieces and reconstructed and can now be seen at the Statens historika museum in Oslo.
The spectacles of this helmet have a prolonged lower part, as a result of which it protects the nose better. The helmet can be fastened under the chin with a leather strap.
