This helmet is a replica of a 10th century original found in Gjermundbu (Norway). The original model was broken into nine pieces and reconstructed and can now be seen at the Statens historika museum in Oslo.
This helmet is battle-ready and made of 2 mm thick steel and is double (on the inside and outside) welded. The steel bands and the spectacles are welded to the helmet. The helmet is delivered including an adjustable chin strap and a leather inlay.
It is available in two sizes.
Size M is suitable for a head circumference up to 61,5 cm.
Size L is suitable for a head circumference up to 64 cm.

Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
