This is a reconstruction of the head of a pole axe from Venice from the year 1530. Axes like this were used from 1450 onwards in a large part of central and middle Europe by infantrymen.

It is made of steel and is delivered excluding a shaft. It has a length of 79 cm and a width of 22 cm. The head has a length of 20,5 cm. It is suitable for a shaft that measures 2,6 x 3 cm, it weighs 1,75 kg.
