This two-handed sword is made after an Italian original and the original is nowadays part of the collection of Musée de L?Armée in Paris. Swords like this were mainly used by German Landsknechten around 1570, just several originals like this had guards and/or side rings. The blade is decorated with 16th century engravings.

The length of this sword is 170 cm with a blade of 126 cm and a cross-guard of 20 x 32 cm. It weighs approx. 4 kg.
