This Katzbalger is made after a South German original from 1520. It was presumably used by the German Landsknechten.

This two-handed Katzbalger has an S-shaped cross-guard and its length is 135 cm, with a blade of 92 cm and a cross-guard of 21 cm x 16 cm. This sword is an Oakeshott type XX.
