During the Middle Ages, helmet with a conical shape were called sugarloaf helmets because their shape resembled exactly that. They were mainly popular in the 14th century. This helmet stands apart because of its hinged visor. It is handmade of 1,6 mm thick steel. This helmet can easilt be adjusted to the right size with its linen inlay. It also has a chin strap. It is suitable for a head circumference up to 61 cm. From ear to ear it is 19 cm wide and measure from the nape to the forehead it measures 22,5 cm. It weighs approx. 2,9 kg.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
