This sword is made after a 13th century original found in Germany. Swords like this were mainly made between the 12th and 13th century. They occurred all over Europe in a large diversity.This model has a length of 90 cm with a blade of 71 cm and a cross-guard of 19 cm. The blade is made of carbon steel with a hardness of 48 to 50 HRC.
This sword is made by Jiri Krondak from Prague. During the last 20 years, this line of swords proved themselves on the re-enactment fields. They are continually perfectionised to a reliable and inexpensive type of re-enactment swords.
