This jug is a replica of an original from the 3rd-4th century AD. The original is found in Picardy and is part of the collection of the Musée de Picardie. Similar jugs were used throughout the Roman empire for the storage and pouring of wine.

This piece is fully hand made. It is 24 cm high and has a diameter of 11 cm.
