The trulla was used in the Roman bath houses and gymnasia to pour water over the body. This model is a replica of an original from 79 AD found in Pompeii. Contrary to the patera that was used for food this patera had lower edges and it was wider.
This trulla is made of brass and tin, the tin is suitable for keeping food.
